Mindfulness & yoga therapy
Mindfulness and yoga therapy are complementary practices used to support a variety of mental and physical health conditions, including anxiety and depression, chronic stress, chronic pain, PTSD, irregular sleep, and body dysmorphia. Mindfulness — paying attention to the present moment without judgement — has been shown to reduce stress, anxiety and depression and improve sleep quality. Yoga therapy combines physical postures, breathing exercises and meditation to reduce stress, pain and anxiety and improve mood and sleep.
Sessions may be offered individually, in groups, or online, and are often combined with approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), or Somatic Experiencing (SE), depending on individual needs and goals.
